Note temp drop from 7/14pm-7/15am I had not insulated.
The heat exchanger 7/15, I corrected that and only lost 4 degrees instead of 16 degrees.

Incoming water temp is 55-65 f from the well.

Average temperature for week was 116 f that is 4 f less than water heater is set

As you can see from this chart I was able make 95% + of the total hot water needs for the week.

   
 
    Savings 2 pumps 53 watts X 8 hrs X 7 days = 6 KWH
      ...average consumption for hot water = 105 KWH X 95% = 99 KWH for this week savings
